Newest doesn't mean the best... August 1, 2010

This study guide for the Praxis II Middle Grades Math 0069 is the newest one on the market. That doesn't mean it's the best. Although the reviews of math content are useful, the practice tests are woefully inadequate. The book contains one test at the end of over 100 multiple choice questions. Personally, I don't find this useful for a test of 40 multiple choice questions and 3 extended responses. The book did explain how I could by more test questions from their web site, however!
I found the best study strategy for me was taking a practice test that closely resembles the actual test, seeing what I missed, and then focusing study sessions on those areas. This book didn't allow me to do this. That is why I give it two stars.
